Finnish developer Motorious Entertainment received $894,000 investment to create a mobile game based on the car show Top Gear.
Three-in-a-row Top Gear Road Trip will be the debut project of Motorious Entertainment. The game is due to be released this summer on iOS and Android.
The investments were presented by the Finnish government fund Finnvera Venture Capital and the startup accelerator of the Swedish financial group Nordea.
In total, the studio managed to raise $1.4 million.
The head of Motorious Entertainment, Jari Pauna, announced that the launch of Motorious Entertainment will take place with the support of BBC Worldwide, which owns the rights to the Top Gear franchise.
