The Finnish studio Supercell has provided a grant of €250 thousand to the Helsinki Higher School of Art, Design and Architecture of Aalto University.

The school provides education for work in the field of game design, digital media, visual design, cinema and architecture.

“Finland is already one of the best places in the world for game development. We want to make Finland a world center of game development, a Hollywood for games of some kind. And we will achieve this goal if we can attract not only Finnish talents, but also the world’s best minds,” said Ilkka Paananen, CEO of Supercell.

Aalto University is currently building a new campus for the development of science, arts and technology in the Otaniemi Innovation Cluster.

In addition to Supercell, Aalto is also sponsored by the Finnish government, thanks to which the amount of investments received by the university increased to €500 thousand.
