Mobile developer Traplight announced the completion of the investment round with a result of $2.7 billion. The total investment in the company reached $5 million.

The financing came from the Korean organization Korea Investment Partners, specializing in investments in video games. Sunstone Capital, Finnvera and Shukri Shammas also participated in the round.

Traplight uses the funds raised to expand the staff and develop new games based on the creativity of players.

“Our games not only give gamers room for creativity, but also make it the basis of an exciting gameplay,” said Traplight CEO Riku Rakkola.

The studio’s first game was Big Bang Racing, which was included in the list of the best App Store apps of 2016. Players have created 7.3 million levels for it.
