According to the analytical company SuperData, the leaders in digital sales in February 2017 were League of Legends, FIFA 17 and Lineage 2 Revolution.
Last February, the digital segment of the global video game market grew by 4% to $7.83 billion compared to the same period last year.
Within its framework, sales of mobile games increased by 9% compared to last year, sales of console titles increased by 8%.
The best start of February was the multiplayer action game For Honor from Ubisoft, which sold 700 thousand copies on PC and consoles in a month.
Battlefield 1 beat the competition within its genre, selling more digital copies in February than Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Titanfall 2 combined on all platforms.
Hearthstone was marked by a big drop in sales on mobile platforms (the game also lost on PC, but less). The company’s analysts suggest that the players did not appreciate the new gameplay solutions.
