By the end of this year, the Summoners Wars battler can get as close as possible to the billionaire games club in terms of revenue.
As Com2uS reports in its report for the first fiscal quarter of 2016, the game’s revenues have been growing continuously for the last year. Only from January to March, Summoners Wars earned $85 million, bringing the total cash of the project to an impressive $ 510 million.
The success of the project is largely due to the fact that Com2uS managed to make it interesting to both Asian and Western audiences. To date, 25% of the game’s revenue comes from the American market (another 20% – from the Japanese). An unprecedented thing for a battler, especially made by Korean developers. The total downloads of the game are 60 million.
In total, Com2uS earned $115 million in the first quarter. This is 16% more than in the last quarter and 44% more than a year earlier for the same quarter.
