Com2uS stated that Summoners War was the first Korean game whose earnings amounted to ₩1 trillion (that’s $890 million). By the summer, the company expects that the total earnings of the game for all time will reach $ 1 billion.
The announcement was made as part of the publication of Com2uS results for the first fiscal quarter of 2017. The company assures that things are going great: for the sixth month in a row, Com2uS earns more than ₩100 billion ($89 million).
Sales of Com2uS in January-March amounted to 120.3 billion rubles ($106.6 million). Of these, 89% came from the international market. The company’s net revenue was ₩36.7 billion ($32.5 million).
The main cash cow of the company is the aforementioned battler Summoners War.
