The revenue of the Russian Internet giant from multiplayer online games in 2015 increased by 6.3% compared to 2014.
This was announced today, February 26, by Mail.Ru Group as part of the publication of the preliminary results of the previous financial year.
As noted in the press release, most of the amount – 4.8 billion – was earned by the company in the second half of the year. This is 10.9% more than in the same period of 2014.
Recall, under MMO games Mail.Ru The Group is referring to its PC and mobile projects. It is not reported how much the company receives from each of these segments. Income from social games goes to the general piggy bank of income from social networks.
In total, the company earned 39.3 billion rubles in 2015. This is 10% more than a year earlier.
