Korean publisher and developer Com2uS has published quarterly results. The company’s sales increased by 110% compared to last year.
The third fiscal quarter for the authors of Summoners War ended on September 30, 2015. Sales during this period amounted to a record $97 million for the company. This is 6% more than in the previous quarter, and 110% more than in the same period of 2014.
Profit for the third quarter reached $27 million, which is 2% higher than in the previous quarter.
Com2uS owes the results to its own title project – the mobile MMORPG Summoners War. It is this game that has been the main source of the company’s profit since its launch in April 2014.
Recall that the project became popular on Asian markets almost immediately after its release. And in order to achieve results in the West, the publisher had to conduct a number of non-standard advertising campaigns.
According to management, Com2uS will continue to expand into global markets. The company’s titles will be promoted “on a global scale”.
