Mail.Ru The Group has published the results of a study of the Russian online gaming market. Its volume for 2016 amounted to 56.7 billion rubles ($845 million). 29% of this amount was accounted for by revenues from mobile games. This is 54% more than a year earlier.
Due to the rapid growth of mobile games in Russia, they came in second place in terms of market volume. Previously, the second position was occupied by the social games market. The first place in 2016 was reserved for MMO projects.
