The game Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle, a free-play tactical fighting game from Bandai Namco, has earned more than $1 billion in two years since its release. 

The main revenue of the game, 60%, comes from Japan. Another 20% of the game earns from American players – in the USA, the Dragon Ball franchise is very popular.

As for the platforms, the title receives a large share of revenue, 54%, from the App Store, the remaining 46% comes from Google Play.

As noted by Sensor Tower, Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle overcame the billion mark in revenue shortly after Bandai Namco released a new game in the franchise – Dragon Ball Legends. The latter earned $40 million in a month and a half.
