A mobile project about Pokemon earned half a billion dollars in 60 days. Previously, no game has earned such a sum in such a short period of time.
The game collected the amount from both platforms where it is presented (App Store and Google Play), – App Annie reports. The company’s analysts do not rule out that Pokémon Go will earn its first $1 billion by the end of the year.
The company makes such a favorable forecast based on the high retention of 30 days of the game. In the USA in July, Pokémon Go was included in the Top 5 games on Android devices, including overtaking Clash Royale.
App Annie also shared that Candy Crush Saga collected its first $500 million in more than 200 days, and Clash of Clans took more than 400 days to do it.
