The Finnish developer studio Nitro Games held an IPO on the NASDAQ First North Stockholm exchange.
The company’s market capitalization was about $8.4 million, and the price of one share was about $4.6 at the time of the placement.
Nitro Games expects to raise about $3.5 million at the IPO. The studio uses funds for independent publishing of games. The company has already engaged in the selection of employees for this purpose.
“We are striving to expand our business to an independent publishing house and make it clear to investors that it is profitable to cooperate with us,” said Jussi Tehtinen, CEO and co—founder of Nitro Games.
Nitro Games also expects that the status of a public company will attract more public attention to the studio.
Nitro Games specializes in mobile strategies dedicated to pirates.
