According to unofficial data, the chemical giant from China acquired the Slovenian developer and publisher of Outfit7 games for € 1 billion.
Slovenian and Croatian media report that Isa and Samo Logins, who own 60% of Outfit7, sold their stake to the Chinese chemical company Zhejiang Jinke Entertainment, which produces “peroxide and activating agents” at the end of December 2016. At the rate of “€100 per share” – the deal could cost the Chinese € 1 billion.
It is known that in November last year Outfit7 started working with Goldman Sachs Group Inc. The purpose of the cooperation was to find a buyer. At that time, the entire company, according to Bloomberg, was estimated by unnamed sources at $616 million.
Outfit7 was founded in Slovenia in 2009, but now the company’s headquarters is based in London. Outfit7 also has offices in Switzerland, South Korea, Hong Kong, China, the USA and Cyprus.
The company became famous for a series of Talking Tom mobile projects. These are children’s games in which the user takes care of a virtual animal. The total downloads of all the company’s projects reach 5.6 billion. Last week, a new game was released within the brand – My Talking Hank.
