- the revenue of the entire company amounted to 21.3 billion rubles ($335 million);
- from games Mail.Ru Group earned 7.6 billion rubles ($120 million);
- in annual terms, revenue from games increased by 24.7%;
- as in the previous quarter, 69% of the company’s revenue comes from the global market;
- not including Russia, the main markets for Mail.Ru Group are the US, Germany and Japan;
- the company’s share of mobile revenue is growing, 69% of the earned 7.6 billion rubles is “mobile money”;
- operating expenses for the games amounted to 6.4 billion rubles ($101 million);
- gaming profit before interest, taxes and other expenses (EBITDA) reached 1.2 billion rubles ($19 million).
The main game results for the quarter for Mail.Ru Group:
- the company considers the quarter seasonally weak, since Mail.Ru Group has not had any significant releases in these three months;
- downloads of the most successful internal project for the company, Hustle Castle, reached 50 million;
- War Robots, despite its solid age (the game is on the market for 6 years) and a long-established user base, shows revenue growth and significant profit growth;
- Warface remains one of the highest-grossing games of the company, although it has also been present on the market for a long time (7 years);
- also in the top five highest-grossing games Mail.Ru The group now includes mobile Left to Survive, developed by Moscow-based WhaleKit.
What’s next:
- the company expects growth in the 4th quarter in connection with the release of the mobile game American Dad, developed according to the patterns of Hustle Castle, and the desktop MMO Lost Ark;

- By 2022, the company plans to increase the share of revenue from the global market relative to the Russian market to 80%.
