Konami’s revenues and profits are growing year-on-year, as reported in its financial report for April-December last year.

The success of the Japanese publisher is as follows:
- revenue growth by 7.8% to $1.75 billion;
- operating profit growth by 2.4% to $358.9 million;
- pre-tax profit growth by 2.8% to $356.6 million;

According to Gamesindustry,biz, the Digital Entertainment division responsible for video games, brought Konami revenue of $962.9 million. This is 18% more than in the first nine months of the last financial year. As Konami points out, revenue increased due to high sales of sports titles such as Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 (soccer simulator) and Professional Baseball Spirits A (baseball simulator).
Konami plans to close the fiscal year with revenue of $2.27 billion and operating profit of $454.9 million. The company’s forecast for these indicators has not changed since the last financial quarter.
