California-based mobile publisher Scopely has raised $60 million dollars in a Series C investment round.
The money will be used to finance strategic investments, conclude commercial partnerships and future acquisitions.
Most of the funds were provided by the Revolution Growth investment fund. The fund’s managing partner, Donn Davis, will join Scopely’s board of directors.
Along with Revolution Growth, Greenspring, Sands Capital Ventures, Cross Creek Advisors and Pritzker Group Venture Capital invested money in this round.
A year ago, in the previous investment round, Scopely raised $55 million.
Scopely is known as the publisher of The Walking Dead: Road to Survival, WWE Champions and many other titles.
