JuiceBox Games studio, founded by former Zynga employees, reported that following the results of the first round of venture financing, it managed to raise about $ 2.5 million.
Among the main investors are Initial Capital and General Catalyst.
At the moment, the startup has released only one game – the colorful ideological heir of Blood Brothers – HonorBound. The game ranked 40th in the iOS box office top and 95th in the Play Store box office top in the USA (according to App Annie).
JuiceBox is going to spend the raised resources on new content for HonorBound and the release of the second game, which will take place next year.
