The publisher of The Secret Society and Hidden City reported that the company’s total revenue from games in the genre “I’m looking for” (hidden object) has surpassed the $100 million mark.
For exactly how long this amount was earned, the Swedish company with Russian roots G5 Entertainment does not report.
One of the main blockbusters of the company at the moment is the shareware (free-to-play) game The Secret Society from the Yakut studio MyTona.
G5 Entertainment is also actively engaged in the publication of freemium projects (the demo version is distributed free of charge, the purchase of the full version is carried out using IAP tools).
90% of the audience of games in the genre of “I’m looking for”, according to G5 Entertainment, are women, 90% of them are over 35 years old. In some projects, the age of the key audience is over 55 years old.
North America and Europe are responsible for more than 80% of G5 Entertainment’s revenue.
