Mobile developer and publisher G5 Entertainment has acquired the rights to two hidden object games from Artifex Mundi studio — Nightmares from the Deep and Kate Malone. G5 paid $600k for them.

Under the terms of the deal, G5 Entertainment can additionally pay Artifex Mundi up to $500 thousand. The amount of remuneration will depend on the financial performance of the purchased titles.

This is the second such purchase of G5 Entertainment in the last six months. At the end of last year, G5 agreed with the Russian studio MyTona to acquire the rights to The Secret Society mobile game. The transaction amount may reach $6.5 million.

G5 Entertainment is an international company founded by immigrants from Russia. The publishing house specializes in casual mobile games and calls itself a world leader in the production and publication of titles in the genre of “hidden object”.
