According to Crunchbase, the studio’s funds were provided by three investors: Makers Fund, Play Ventures and Kowloon Nights.

It is not known exactly how much each of them invested.

Redhill Games has promised to send money for the development of an as-yet-unannounced title. The studio itself promises to tell about it “later”. But there is already a possibility that this is a frituplay project.

Firstly, the studio promised from the first day to focus on shareware tactical shooters with a cooperative and “honest monetization”. And in working on the game, she, according to MCV, will apply “her extensive experience in creating free-play games and game services.”

Secondly, the founder of Play Ventures, Harry Manninen, hinted at the frituplein component of the title. He is confident that the Redhill Games team is able to make the shareware business model even more popular.

Redhill Games is a young Finnish studio. It was founded in November last year by four former top managers of Wargaming, as well as people from Remedy. Thus, some team members have experience working on World of Tanks and Quantum Break.
