Profits from Disney games have grown, despite the fact that revenue has fallen, – the Venturebeat resource reports.

Revenue from games in the first fiscal quarter, which for the company ended on December 27, amounted to $384 million, which is $19 million lower than in the same period last year. Operating profit reached $75 million, which is $20 million more than in the first quarter of 2014.

The quarter turned out to be profitable thanks to two titles of the company in the match-3 genre: Disney’s Tsum Tsum and Frozen Free Fall.

Profits in the mobile sector partially offset the company’s losses in the console games sector. The latter are explained by increased marketing costs and the increased price per user against the background of a decrease in the number of sales of goods in the Infinity game.
