Digital Bros has high hopes for the PC version of Death Stranding. The publisher expects to earn over $53 million on it.

The company announced this in its report for three financial quarters (June 2019 — March 2020).

Digital Bros and Kojima Productions signed a deal to publish the game on PC in October. The release of the project is scheduled for early June. Then it was postponed to July due to quarantine for COVID-19.

$53 million is a big figure, taking into account earlier rumors about the failure of Death Stranding on PS4. Sources reported that the exclusive did not fight back on the release.

Weak sales of the game indirectly confirms the fact that it quickly disappeared from the US and UK charts. Nevertheless, Digital Bros expects great results from Death Stranding PC players.

And one more thing. The report mentions that Digital Bros revenue from paid games has grown significantly, including thanks to Remedy. The game of this studio, Control, was released in August last year. By April 2020, she had earned $32 million on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Overall, the company’s revenue reached $106.8 million. This is a 132% increase compared to the same period of fiscal year 2019.
