Sensor Tower analysts appreciated the success of Call of Duty: Mobile in the first two months. Her earnings reached $87 million, and downloads — 172 million.
According to analysts, Call of Duty: Mobile is one of the most successful examples of transferring a PC or console franchise to mobile devices. In its main markets, the game is in the top 25 highest-grossing titles.
All the data below does not take into account China, because Call of Duty: Mobile has not yet been released there.
Money
- Call of Duty: Mobile received most of its revenue in October. That’s $55 million. Revenue for November was almost half as much — $31 million. In total, the game earned $87 million in two months.
- The Americans spent the most money on the game — $ 36 million (42% of the total amount). Japan was the second largest player spending with a result of $11 million (13.2%). Great Britain is third, its subjects left $2.6 million (3%) in the game.
- In the App Store, the game received most of its revenue: $51 million (almost 60%). Another 35% is earnings in Google Play.
Downloads
- In October, the number of installations reached 146 million (of which a record 100 million in the first week). In November, the monthly rate of installations decreased to 21 million.
- The main market for the game is the USA. It accounted for 28.5 million installations for all time (this is 16.6% of the total number of downloads). India is second with 17.5 million installations (10.2%), Brazil is third with 12 million (7%).
- On Google Play, the game generated 89 million downloads (52%). The remaining 83 million — for the App Store.
Recently, it was also noted that mobile Call of Duty has a higher level of engagement than Fortnite. At least on Android.
