The Swedish Stillfront Group announced the expansion of its portfolio of companies. The group acquired 100% of the shares of Imperia Online studio. The user base of the latter is 45 million people.
The transaction amount was $11.7 million. Half was paid to the management of the Bulgarian company in money, half in shares of the new owner. If Imperia Online games show a high level of sales in the next three years, the transaction value may reach $32.4 million.

Today, the main source of revenue for Imperia Online is its web strategy of the same name, also presented on mobile.
Other products are not such significant articles. From January to March 2018, the net revenue of the Bulgarian company amounted to $4.8 million.
This is not the first deal for Stillfront Group. Positioning itself as a “group of independent creators, developers and distributors”, the company has been actively buying up small and medium-sized companies in recent years. Its biggest acquisition is Goodgame Studio for $270 million, and one of its most famous assets is Coldwood Interactive, the developer of the Unravel series.
