The German studio InnoGames earned 25% more in 2015 than in 2014.
The main driver of sales is the hardcore strategy of Forge of Empires, whose revenues doubled last year.
Most of the game’s audience – 60% – plays from mobile platforms. But, according to the developers, good sales are also observed in the browser version of the game. Plus, the company continues to make good money on its other web projects – Tribal Wars and Grepolis.
The open beta of Forge of Empires started in the spring of 2012. The project appeared on the iOS platform just in 2014. The game was released on Android a year later.
