More than half of the participants of the Top 10 largest public corporations (whose shares are traded on the stock market without restrictions) in the world are key players in the gaming industry.
Until recently, there were five companies: Apple, Alphabet (Google), Microsoft, Amazon and Facebook. China’s main provider Tencent became the sixth member of the club of global IT corporations.
Now the Top 10 largest public companies in the world looks like this:

- Tencent
As of April 5, 2017, Tencent’s market capitalization was $267 billion dollars, and gaming revenues for 2016 increased by 25% and exceeded $ 10 billion.
MOBA League of Legends and a number of mobile titles, including Clash of Clans and Clash Royale, bring the most revenue to the Chinese giant in the gaming industry.
