Twitter has announced the launch of the Twitter Publisher Network advertising network, which will allow you to publish advertising tweets with links to mobile applications.

The advertising solution is based on the MoPub network purchased by Twitter last fall. Thanks to it, ads can be shown not only to 241 million Twitter users, but also to the MoPub Marketplace user base, which has about 1 billion users.

The systems for promoting applications inside the social network Twitter, according to the principle of operation, resembles the Facebook Mobile App Ads for Installs. Twitter provides advertisers with a whole set of tools for conducting and measuring promotions.

The system is currently running in closed beta mode. It is being tested by companies such as Spotify, Kabam and GREE.

The launch of the system was the next step of Twitter in the advertising sphere. Last year, the network launched special multimedia services Promoted Tweets and Twitter Card. The latter, by the way, could contain so-called “deep links” that allow developers to link certain game events to tweets.
