One of the key features contributing to the growth of Ruzzle‘s popularity in the United States was the opportunity to compete with their Twitter followers, said Daniel Hasselberg, CEO of MAG Interactive at Pocket Gamer Connects 2014.
“The opportunity to compete with Twitter followers was not very popular in Europe, but in the United States it became a catalyst for exponential growth,” he said in his report.
“Initially, the audience was concentrated in one small American town, but Twitter helped the game spread quickly across all States.”
“This expansion did not stop, and helped us reach the first places in Google Play and the App Store.”
