The market is growing rapidly. The same study says that in 2016, mobile advertising will account for 50% of all digital advertising in general. In the period from 2016 to 2019, this number will increase further and will already reach 70%. Spending on mobile advertising will double by 2019 – to almost $200 billion a year.

Such indicators are the result of the growth in sales of mobile devices. Next year, according to eMarketer, the number of smartphone users will be 2 billion.

The number of tablet owners is increasing a little slower. But it will also exceed a billion this year.

The USA and China will take the leading roles in the market. American advertising companies will spend $40.2 billion next year, and Chinese – $22.1 billion. In both countries, this segment of the digital advertising market will become dominant.

In Russia, spending on mobile advertising will also grow at a high rate. In 2014, they amounted to $196 million, in 2015 they will reach $776 million, and by 2017 they will exceed $1 billion.
