The company Leadbolt, which owns the marketing platform of the same name, has launched its own mobile video advertising network.
Executive Director Dale Carr claims that their project is different from hundreds of similar ones. So, among the advantages of the company’s video advertising, he called non-intrusiveness: the videos “do not disrupt the gameplay”, they can be skipped or viewed again.
The data needed to view the video is downloaded in advance, meaning users don’t have to wait to view the ad.
The mobile video advertising market in 2014 was estimated at $18 billion. It is extremely competitive; among the major market players are Optimatic, Rocketfuel and Moby.
