Maxim Samorukov’s analytics service now highlights projects launched in a limited number of territories.

The other day DataMagic received a major functional update. He has a new tool that shows projects that are at the stage of “soft launch”.

The tool is called Top soft-launches. It works on the principle of the chart. That is, the user is shown by the selected parameter (downloads or revenue) a list of applications whose global release has not yet taken place.

The chart, in addition to the number of installations and revenue per day, shows on which platform the application was launched, when its preliminary release took place, in which countries it was released.

In addition, you can see where the rest of the publisher’s applications came out. The latter, according to Samorukov, allows you to quickly assess whether the company is a global or local player.

The user can also set filters so that the selection does not take into account applications whose publishers are not in the Top 100 in terms of revenue or downloads in a particular market.

“In total, we process tens of thousands of applications that can be called softlonches,” Samorukov comments on the innovation. – “No more than a thousand softlonches are displayed on one page, but if you choose the right filters (for example, set the store category), there will be a lot of interesting things.”

The main disadvantage of the solution is temporary. Now DataMagic covers only the top 42 markets. This list does not include all countries where it is popular to test games.  However, in February, the service will begin to support seven new countries. Among them will be such popular regions for softlonch as New Zealand and Finland.

The new functionality is only available for premium DataMagic users.
