Last night (April 30), Apple Corporation allowed developers to send applications for access to the beta version of its own analytical service App Analytics.
It is unclear how soon and how many developers will be launched to beta.
Judging by the reviews on social networks, some developers have already managed to get access. Moreover, according to the participants of the corresponding thread in the Russian Apple Developer User Group (RADUG group on Facebook), the connection time after sending the application could be only 4 hours.
One of the main features of the service is the ability to see the number of page views of the application in the App Store. This will allow you to calculate the conversion from page visits to downloads, which means it will help optimize icons, screenshots and descriptions as efficiently as possible.
Another important function of the service is the ability to display the source of traffic to the application page. Theoretically, this feature is quite capable of making the iOS advertising market more transparent. From now on, the developer will be able to see the most effective channels (websites) that bring the largest number of users to the application page (of course, this will not save you from “cheating” and having to pay for CPI).
This Analytics thing is pretty cool. Can finally get good data of where sales are coming from. pic.twitter.com/r8iFVMPpZ5— Paul Haddad (@tapbot_paul) April 30, 2015
Также разработчики смогут выяснять, сколько пользователей открывают приложение, отслеживать продажи и создавать кастомные линки для конкретных рекламных кампаний, что также очень круто, поскольку позволит оптимизировать работу с источниками трафика.
