Following Big Fish Games and Glu Mobile, Zynga is entering the British real money gambling market. Yesterday, in her official blog, she announced the launch of two games – Zynga Plus Poker and Zynga Plus Casino. The projects will start today, April 3.
At the first stage, users will be offered web versions and downloadable clients, a little later the games will appear on mobile platforms.
The partner of Zynga is the operator of gambling for real money, the company bwin, with which the contract was signed in September last year.
Some analysts believe that the solid “profitable” potential of the real money gambling market will help Zynga to improve its not too enviable financial situation. At the same time, there are also skeptics who believe that it will be difficult for the company to “redirect” its audience into the sphere of real money games. Nevertheless, after the announcement, the company’s stock price rose by 5%.
