ZeptoLab has posted a teaser image on Twitter, looking at which it can be concluded that the company is preparing a new part of Cut the Rope in the setting of The Hobbit.

The picture shows a green monster Am Yum with a Bilbo Baggins hairstyle. In his hands is a dagger made by elves, a Sting, and on his finger is a Ring of Omnipotence. Judging by the text of the message to him, today ZeptoLab is going to reveal the details.

Note that the “symbiosis” of such famous brands as Angry Birds and Star Wars turned out to be more than successful. We are sure that the mobile audience will accept Cut the Rope with no less enthusiasm: The Hobbit (or maybe Cut the Rope: Lord of the Rings).

Update: Alas, the much-anticipated announcement of Cut the Rope: The Hobbit never took place, and in recent posts on Twitter and Facebook, ZeptoLab gave a completely “prosaic” explanation of yesterday’s picture – they say Am Yum dressed up as a hobbit in order to mark the three Oscar nominations that Peter Jackson’s film received. But the team can be pleased that they managed to once again “loudly” remind both the media and users about their game.
