GungHo has announced a collaboration with Square Enix. In the title project of the Japanese studio, the game Puzzle And Dragons, the heroes of Final Fantasy will appear. GungHo announced this in a press release.
Users will be able to find the heroes and villains of Final Fantasy in the local analogue of the slot machine – Egg Machine, which is located in a special dungeon called Netherworld.
Note that collaboration is a technique that GungHo resorts to on a regular basis. Earlier this year, the company launched a cross-promotion with Angry Birds, and in 2014 – with Clash of Clans and DC comics.
Puzzle and Dragons is one of the most popular games on the Japanese market. Joint spending on this project and on Monster Strike accounts for 70% to 80% of all spending on mobile games on the local market.
Final Fantasy is a cult RPG series and trademark of the same name, adopted by the Japanese studio Square Enix. The first FF universe game was released in 1987.
