Havok, a company specializing in middleware development, has announced that support for the upcoming Tizen OS has been added to its Projet Anarchy toolkit.
For the first time, Project Anarchy (iOS, Android) was presented at the GDC 2013 conference.
This is a full-cycle cross-platform solution for the development of three-dimensional mobile games distributed under the open source model. It includes graphics and physics engines, as well as animation and artificial intelligence modules.
The first demonstration of Project Anarchy with Tizen support will take place on May 22 in San Francisco during the Tizen Developers Conference, and a Tizen-optimized release is expected in the third quarter of this year.
Note that this is not the first time that middleware developers include Tizen support in their products. Not so long ago, we reported that Unity did this.
