The American studio Imangi Studios has announced that the number of downloads of its mobile game Temple Run has exceeded 100 million.

Note that the release of the game for iOS occurred on August 4, 2011, so the developers received a great gift for the first anniversary. So, 68 million out of a hundred are accounted for by the iOS version, and the remaining 32 million are Android. According to Imangi, 10 billion gaming sessions have been registered since August 2011, which approximately corresponds to 54,000 years of gaming time.

I must say that the company is actively developing the Temple Run franchise itself. For example, a partnership agreement has been concluded with Dimensional Branding Group to license this IP for the production of a variety of merchandise. In addition, Imangi worked with the legendary animation studio Pixar on the game Temple Run: Brave, timed to coincide with the premiere of the latest Pixar film. Imangi decided to celebrate taking the one hundred millionth milestone with an action in which all its games released before Temple Run will be available for free download for a limited time.
