Finally, after numerous misadventures, the continuation of one of the central titles of PopCap, now owned by EA, got on the App Store.
Recall that initially Plants vs. Zombies 2 was supposed to appear on the market on July 18, but because of the not very warm reception at E3, they decided to release the game “just in case” first only in New Zealand and Australia.
In the market of the latter, the game showed itself very well in the box office top: for a whole month it was consistently kept in the top 40 overall.
According to downloads, the situation looked even better: the project did not go down below the 10th position.
