Google has shared the latest information about the segmentation of devices based on the Android platform. According to these data, the latest version of the system known as Jelly Bean (4.1 and 4.2) continues to demonstrate high dynamics.
Now the share of the operating system has already reached 10.2%, about a month ago it was a third less – 6.7%.
However, Gingerbread is still the undisputed leader (47.6%), although its share is gradually decreasing. The drop over the last month was 3.2%. Ice Cream Sandwich, having increased its presence by 1.6%, holds the second place with 29.1%. And Froyo with 9%, as we can see, lost the third step of the pedestal to the “jelly candy”.
The charts were based on data on Android devices’ access to Google Play for the two-week period from December 20, 2012 to January 3, 2013.
