There is censorship in the foggy Albion: a mobile game has been banned in the UK, one of the heroes of which is the naked son of Prince Charles.
The game Hotel Vegas from Tagplay studio, which is due to be released on iOS and Android in mid-December, will not appear in British stores. The reason is that among her characters there is a hero who very much resembles Prince Harry in “Adam’s suit”.
In the summer of this year, another scandal broke out in England concerning the grandson of the now reigning Elizabeth II: online and print media published photos of this member of the British royal family taken at a party in one of the Las Vegas hotels, in which he was depicted “naked”.
So the developers decided to use this situation in their latest project Hotel Vegas, which, according to them, “challenges the limits of what is permissible in parody and satire in mobile games.” As a result, the project was banned in one of the most profitable mobile application markets.
The game is an ironic clone of Tiny Tower and Diner Dash, in which the player needs to “clean up” the hotel rooms for celebrities so that journalists could not catch the “stars” in one or another awkward situation.
The names of most of the public figures included in the characters are somewhat changed, but still remain quite recognizable: Arnold Governor, Oprah Windfall, Mel Drinksome, Dim Kardashian, etc.
