Deep Silver, a division of the German company Koch Media, engaged in the publication of computer and console games, has announced its plans to develop the mobile games market.

In this regard, Deep Silver plans to increase the number of employees. What exactly they will work on, however, is not reported. So, whether the company’s games will be original titles or mobile versions of popular franchises is still unknown.

Among the popular titles available in the company’s portfolio are: Dead Island, Risen and Sacred. Recently, at the sale of THQ assets, the Germans also acquired Volition studio along with the rights to Saint Row and the Metro: Last Light project.

According to the executive director of Koch Media/Deep Silver, Klemens Kundratitz, today the expansion of gaming brands to new, in particular, mobile platforms is quite a logical step, and, following his new multiplatform strategy, his company will try to give gamers the opportunity to enjoy immersion in game worlds at any time and anywhere.
