The Chinese tablet market grew by 63% in the third quarter. Apple dominates it. In second place are “tablets” from Lenovo.
The tablet market in China, according to Reuters, increased by 62.5% in the third quarter of this year, compared with the results for the same period of 2011. If last year 1.6 million “tablets” were sold in China in three months, this year – 2.6 million.
More than two-thirds of the market is accounted for by Apple’s tablet, whose share has decreased slightly (by 1%) compared to the second quarter of this year. Now it is 71.4%. As much as 10.5% is accounted for by Lenovo devices, 3.6% by the manufacturer Ereneben and slightly less (3.5%) by Samsung tablets.
