Researchers believe that by 2017 its volume will exceed $ 18 billion, with the largest revenue (11.4 billion) coming from the mobile games segment.
The rest will be distributed between video, audio and other types of content.
According to Transparency Market Research, in 2011 the turnover in the mobile content market amounted to $6.5 billion, so this figure will almost triple in five years. It should also be noted that in 2011, the United States had the largest market share globally – 30.3%. According to analysts, by 2017 it will increase to 41%.
