PowerA, a company specializing in peripherals and accessories, announced the imminent launch of its own controller for Android devices and at the same time announced its broad support from developers.
Externally, the device resembles a familiar console gamepad, though without a crosspiece. But everything else is in place – four buttons for the right hand, two analog sticks, hangers and, of course, the start and select buttons.
MOGA connects to Android via Bluetooth, and also has a pull-out shelf for smartphones, where you can put your device.
The start of sales of MOGA is scheduled for October 21. The gadget will be available immediately in 7,000 stores across America. The largest American retail chains like T-Mobile, Best Buy and Toys ‘R’ Us have already announced their plans to sell the device. It will also be sold Amazon.com and Walmart.com .
Atari, Namco Bandai, Sega and Remedy Entertainment also announced their support for MOGA. So, as you can see, there will be something to play.
