The Game Creators company announced that a beta version of a cross-platform toolkit for developers called Freedom Engine will be launched on September 12.

According to Lee Bamber, CEO of The Game Creators, this engine is primarily aimed at developers with limited financial resources (yes, again, as is the case with the RIM engine). You can learn about some of the features of Freedom Engine from the video.

So, the developer gets a cloud service at his disposal, with which he can write code directly in the browser, compile and immediately check his work.

2D sprites, music, sound effects, collision processing are supported, and 3D physics will be introduced soon. Quite simply, according to the developers, the publication of applications for iOS, Android, Windows, Mac has been implemented, although only HTML5 support will be present in the beta version.
