The worldwide release of the iPad version of Riven: The Sequel to Myst, the second game from the legendary series of graphic quests Myst, will soon take place.

The original version of the game appeared in 1997. Then its author from Cyan Worlds managed to sell more than 4.5 million copies of the game. In 2010, the project was relatively successfully transferred to the iPhone. In the near future, the journey to the collapsing Fifth World, created by the father of Atrus – Gen, will become available “in all its splendor” to tablet owners. At the moment, the project is only available for New Zealand App Store users.

The new version of Riven is compatible with all iPad generations from the very first to the iPad mini.

According to representatives of the studio Cyan Worlds, all the graphics and sound in the game are “reassembled”. The game will cost $5.99 and will require 1.8 GB to install.

UPDATE: by the evening, the game was released, including on the Russian App Store. You can find it at this link.
