The mobile version of the indie hit Terraria has finally appeared in the App Store.
Even before the official release and, accordingly, the financial success of Minecraft, a two-dimensional version of it appeared in March 2011. It was called Terraria and was a platform sandbox.
The gameplay looked something like this: the game character was thrown into a hostile world, where he had to survive by collecting resources, killing monsters, building fortresses and creating weapons and armor for himself.
The mobile version is almost the same as the original. The port, implemented with the help of 505 Games, turned out to be very decent.
It’s funny, but today a clone of Terraria – Junk Jack X from Pixbits SRL was also released in the App Store. The game is more beautiful than the original project, but because of the poor tutorial, the entry threshold in it, in our opinion, is much higher.
What do you think about these projects?
