Last week, Svyaznoy, a company that sells mobile equipment in Russia, published an infographic about the state of affairs on the domestic smartphone market.

In short, the share of smartphones in Russia is growing rapidly. If in the first half of 2012 smartphones accounted for only 28% of sales from all handsets (in quantitative terms), then in the first half of this year this figure was already 40%.

The average price has not changed – it is at the level of 10,500 rubles, but in price segments up to 7,500 rubles and up to 5,000 rubles – there are significantly more devices available.

But the funny thing is that according to the results of the first half of 2013, 25% of all smartphones sold support LTE.

The original infographic is just below.

P.S. Relatively recently we published similar material on tablets. it can be found here – /?p=25311 .
