DeNa reported on the results of the quarter ended December 31, 2012. Both revenue and profit increased by 50% compared to the same period of the previous year and amounted to $558.6 million and $212.5 million, respectively.

In many ways, the improvement of the company’s financial condition is due to the strategy of active penetration into foreign markets, in particular, through the development of the Mobage network. During the reporting quarter, users outside Japan spent the domestic currency Moba-coins totaling over $50 million. It should also be noted that in December, the first three places of the top box office applications on Google Play were occupied by games from DeNA – Rage of Bahamut, Blood Brothers and Marvel: War of Heroes.

Yes, a few months ago, a Japanese company reported that it had started receiving money from the Western market.
