The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation decided to adopt Apple’s experience in introducing high-tech devices into the educational process.

By d ann Cnews.ru by the beginning of the next academic year, the regional authorities plan to launch a pilot project on the use of “apple” tablets by Russian schoolchildren for educational purposes.

As noted by the Minister of Education of the Chelyabinsk region Alexander Kuznetsov, “it is planned not just to download an electronic textbook into a tablet, but to create a qualitatively new educational resource in which text information will be accompanied by graphic images, audio recordings and video illustrations.”

The project will not be of a massive nature, but both urban and rural schools can be included in the list.

Interestingly, in the same way, in the 2011-12 academic year, Russian students tested readers, after which it was decided to introduce electronic textbooks into the Russian education system. While the deputies were developing proposals on how they would be implemented, it was time to test iPads. That is, it turns out that electronic textbooks are no longer an option.

Perhaps, while Russian schoolchildren are testing iPads, a new high-tech device will appear on the market, which will also need to be introduced into the educational process.
